Pierre-Michel-François Chevalier, known as Pitre-Chevalier, (November 16, 1812 in Paimbœuf (Lower Loire) – June 15, 1863 in Paris) was a French author, historian and journalist. He was an editor of Le Figaro and Director of the Museum of Families (Musée des familles).
