Ramon Curtis Cortines (born 1932) is an American educator who has served as the Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, and the Superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District in Los Angeles, California. Cortines returned as Los Angeles superintendent in October 2014, and his contract was extended in June 2015 for another year, through June 2016.
