Raymond "Ray" Tabern (13 October 1953) is a rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for England (Under-23s and XV), and at club level for Leigh RUFC,[1] as a hooker, i.e. number 2, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and at club level for Leigh (Heritage No. 892), Fulham RLFC (Heritage No. 43) and Workington Town, as a hooker, i.e. number 9.
