Ray Zahab is a Canadian ultramarathon runner, personal trainer, and motivational speaker. He lives in Chelsea, Quebec. He had agreed to work with the H2O Africa project and be part of the first team of runners to cross the Sahara desert from coast to coast. The expedition was filmed and edited into a 2007 documentary, called Running the Sahara. Executive producer and narrator of the documentary was Matt Damon and directed by James Moll.
