Reginald Minshall Taylor (30 November 1909 – 7 January 1984) was an English cricketer active from 1931 to 1948 who played for Essex. He was born in Southend-on-Sea and died in Johannesburg. He appeared in 206 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin. He scored 6,755 runs with a highest score of 193 among five centuries and took 92 wickets with a best performance of seven for 99. He was the first professional cricketer to win the DFC, for service as an observer in Bomber Command at Dunkirk in 1940.
