Richard Anthony Moore (23 January 1914 - 27 January 1995) was a lawyer, special counsel to President Richard M. Nixon, communications executive and U.S. Ambassador to Ireland (1989 - 1992). Moore became a special counsel to President Richard M. Nixon in 1971, and in July 1973 was a witness to the Senate committee investigating the Watergate scandal. After leaving the administration he later became founder and associate producer of The McLaughlin Group, and was later Ambassador to Ireland under President George H.W. Bush.
