Richard P. Nielsen (born 1951) has served as the president of the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. Prior to this he served as the chief physical therapist for the United States Navy. He has also served as the president of the Institute of Clinical Electrophysiology and as president of the Amer-Ken Rehabilitation Association operating in Kenya. He has also been an advisor to Operation Smile International and Vice Chairman of the Board of Reach the Children.
