Richard Stephen Sackler (born March 10, 1945) is an American billionaire businessman who was the chairman and president of Purdue Pharma, a company purchased by his late father Raymond Sackler (best known as the developer of OxyContin), and whose connection to the opioid epidemic in the United States was the subject of multiple lawsuits and fines.
