Robert James "Rick" Monday Jr. (born November 20, 1945) is an American former professional baseball player and current television sports color commentator. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a center fielder from 1966 to 1984, most notably as a member of the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers with whom he won a World Series championship in 1981.
