Robert Butler (1972-2015) was one of the world’s five fattest people, peaking at 1,200 pounds in 2015. He passed away aged 43 on July 6, 2015 at Eleanor Slater hospital from a sepsis infection. After careful planning, it took seven hours to transport him and was handled by two local fire departments using a shipping container, crane and flatbed truck.
