Robert Anthony Pape Jr. (born April 24, 1960) is an American political scientist who studies international security affairs, especially air power and suicide terrorism. He is currently a professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago and founder and director of the Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism (CPOST).
