Rose Hawthorne Lathrop, O.P., (May 20, 1851 – July 9, 1926) was an American writer and religious leader. As Mother Mary Alphonsa, she was a Roman Catholic religious sister, social worker, and foundress of the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne.
