Ross LaManna is an American screenwriter and author. He is best known for creating the Rush Hour series starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Later, he took a break from screenwriting and focused more on writing novels. His first one, Acid Test, was released in 2001. He received a "created by" credit for both Rush Hour sequels, even though he was not involved with either one of them. He is the Undergraduate Chairman for the Film Department at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
