Sarsen Amanzholuly Amanzholov (Kazakh: Sársen Аmаnjoluly Аmаnjolov; Russian: Сарсен Аманжолович Аманжолов; on December 27, 1903 – January 28, 1958), was a noted Turkologist, and one of the pioneers of Kazakh linguistics. He developed the foundations of Kazakh grammar, and helped create the current form of the Cyrillic Kazakh alphabet. Amanzholov also helped to create Russian-Kazakh military and agricultural dictionaries.
