Shatrughan Sinha (born Shatrughan Prasad Sinha on 15 July 1946 is an Indian film actor and politician. He was a member of Lok Sabha (2009–2014, 2014–2019) from Patna Sahib and Rajya Sabha (1996-2002, 2002-2008). He was a Union Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Shipping in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government . He was a member of standing committee on transport, tourism and culture and member of consultative committee in ministry of external affairs and overseas indian affairs from 2014-2019. In 2016, his biography, entitled Anything but Khamosh, was released.
