Shepherd Leffler (April 24, 1811 – September 7, 1879) was one of the two original U.S. Representatives from Iowa. Elected as a Democrat just as Iowa was admitted to the Union in 1846, Leffler went on to represent Iowa's 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House for two terms.
