Sherri Smith Buffington, formerly Sherri Smith Cheek (born August 1966), is a businesswoman and lobbyist from Shreveport, Louisiana, who is a Republican former member of the Louisiana State Senate for District 38 (south Caddo and DeSoto parishes). Buffington is the first female Republican ever to have been elected to the Louisiana Senate.
