Shimelis Bekele (Amharic: ሽመልስ በቀለ, born 2 January 1990) is an Ethiopian international footballer who plays as a midfielder. He is currently playing for Egyptian Premier League side Misr Lel-Makkasa. He was also selected to play for Ethiopia national football team in 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
