Sindika Dokolo (born 16 March 1972 – October 29, 2020) was a Congolese art collector and businessman. He owned one of the most important contemporary African art collections, which includes more than 3,000 pieces. On the 29th of October, Sindiko was reported as dead by multiple news sources. The death occurred in a sea accident, in the city of Dubai. He died at the age of 48.
