Sobia Tahir (Urdu: ثوبیہ طاہر) is a thinker, researcher, writer and professor of Philosophy. She is teaching philosophy of religion, Classical, Modern and Contemporary Islamic Philosophy since 2008 at Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies department, Government College University, Lahore. She is the founding Coordinator of M.Phil Programme in the Department of Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies in the Government College University Lahore. Her main areas of research are critical philosophy, literature and translation.
