Sony Michel (born February 17, 1995) is an American former professional football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. During his first season with the Patriots, he was a member of the team that won Super Bowl LIII, and scored the game's only touchdown. After two more seasons with the Patriots, Michel spent the 2021 season with Los Angeles Rams, winning Super Bowl LVI, and his final season with the Los Angeles Chargers.
