Stan Cowan (22 December 1931 – 8 February 2015) was a Scottish rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played representative rugby union (RU) for South of Scotland, including against the New Zealand All-Blacks at Netherdale, Galashiels and at club level for Selkirk RFC, and club level rugby league (RL) for Hull F.C. (Heritage №) as a wing, or centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.
