Steven W. "Steve" White (born April 13, 1949 in Sacramento, California) is a Judge of the Sacramento County Superior Court. He served as Presiding Judge from 2010 to 2011. He was appointed to the bench in 2003 by Governor Gray Davis. Between 1999 and 2003, he served as the Solicitor General of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, overseeing California's prison system. He was the District Attorney of Sacramento County from 1989 to 1995. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
