Svetlana Alekseyevna Smirnova (née Veresova) (Russian: Светлана Алексеевна Смирнова; born March 10, 1962 in Pskov) is a Russian sport shooter. She won two medals (silver and bronze), as a member of the Soviet Union shooting team, at the 1987 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and at the 1990 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Moscow, Russia. She also captured a total of 26 medals (8 gold, 10 silver, 8 bronze), and set a world record of 493 points (1998 in Munich) at the ISSF World Cup.
