Tami L. Gouveia (born July 2, 1974) is an American Democratic legislator currently serving as State Representative of the 14th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. A public health social worker, Gouveia has dedicated her career to solving the problems families face in their everyday lives. A lifelong advocate of progressive causes dedicated to ensuring that all people have what they need to thrive, Gouveia spearheaded several public health initiatives and served in numerous leadership and consulting positions throughout her career. She currently represents the towns of Acton (pcts 1, 2 & 6), Carlisle, Chelmsford (pcts 1 & 9), and Concord. Gouveia serves on the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities, the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, the Joint Committee on Export Development, and the Joint Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery.
