Edward "Ted" Slevin (15 July 1927 – 7 November 1998) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Lancashire (despite being born in Yorkshire), and at club level for Wigan (Heritage № 521), Huddersfield and Rochdale Hornets, as a prop, or second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
