Thomas Antonio Davis Sr. (born March 22, 1983) is a former American football linebacker who played 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Georgia in the early 2000s, where he was recognized as an All-American. Following his college career, he was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft and played for them for 14 years. He retired following the 2020 season after having short stints with the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Football Team. During his career Davis recovered from three ACL tears, a feat no other professional athlete had done.
