Thomas "Tommy" Poynton (second ¼ 1885 – second ¼ 1942) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s and 1910s. He played at representative level for England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 155), as a three-quarter, i.e. wing, or centre.
