Tolga Akcayli (born 15 April 1993) is a Vincentian – Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, film director of Turkish descent. Tolga has also represented the country in competitive swimming, specializing in 50 m freestyle and butterfly events. He competed at the 2011 Pan American Games and the 2011 and 2012 world championships. Akcayli also qualified for the 50 m freestyle at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was ranked 45th. Akcayli married Dr. Julia Reymann on 20 July 2016 and they now have a daughter, Leyla Christina Akcayli. Akcayli studied at the New York Film Academy and has released his first feature film in 2019 titled Too Lickrish a comedy feature film shot in Barbados. Too Lickrish earned nominations at the New York City International Film Festival for Best Fiction Film, where it made it as a finalist. Too Lickrish has also been nominated at the Nice International Film Festival in South of France for Best Comedy Feature, Best Actress, and Best Director; where it won Best Comedy Feature.
