Thomas "Tom" Barton (15 January 1883 – March 1958 (aged 75)) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for St. Helens (captain), as a fullback, wing, centre, i.e. number 1, 2 or 5, 3 or 4, or, forward (prior to the specialist positions of; prop, hooker, second-row, loose forward), during the era of contested scrums.
