Trevor Colin Mallard (born 17 June 1954) is a New Zealand politician and member of the Labour Party who is the 30th and current Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives. Currently a list MP, he formerly represented the Hutt South electorate. He was a Cabinet minister in the Fifth Labour Government of New Zealand holding the portfolios of Environment, Labour, Broadcasting, State Owned Enterprises, Rugby World Cup, Education and Associate Finance.
