Vigneswaran s/o Sanasee (Tamil: ச. விக்னேஸ்வரன், Ca. Vikṉēsvaraṉ; born 16 December 1965) is a Malaysian politician. He has served as the 10th President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) since July 2018, a minor component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalitions. He also served as President of the Dewan Negara from April 2016 to June 2020 for 4 years. He was appointed as a Senator respectively on 23 June 2014 and 23 June 2017 for two three-year terms.
