Wladyslaw Lawrynowicz (born February 22, 1944) is a Polish painter. He has been making easel paintings since 1976. He is a voluntary causes activist, a teacher, an organizer of cultural events, the winner of numerous prizes and diplomas and the president of The Creative Association of Polish Painters in Lithuania (ELIPSA), which was founded in 1993. He lives and works in Vilnius. He daringly uses allegory via which he influences the viewer. And the music of old masters helps him in it. Original technique and style makes the works of Wladyslaw Lawrynowicz unique. His themes are varied- from sacred, through Egyptian to realistic symbolism. Numerous of his paintings can be found in churches and private collections in Lithuania, Poland and Belarus. The artist actively participates in exhibitions and open air meetings in these countries. His works are included within private collections in Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Greece, United States, etc. (about 60 countries around the world).
