Walter Allen Williams (December 19, 1943 – January 23, 2016) was an American professional baseball player and coach. He played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder for the Houston Colt .45s (1964), Chicago White Sox (1967–1972), Cleveland Indians (1973), and New York Yankees (1974–1975). He also played in the Nippon Professional Baseball league with the Nippon-Ham Fighters in 1976 and 1977. Williams was a popular, charismatic player who was known for his enthusiastic style of play.
