Wendy Rahamut came onto the Trinidad food scene in 1995. She is a Trinidadian cookbook author of 3 internationally published Caribbean cookbooks, Caribbean Flavors, Modern Caribbean Cuisine and Curry Callaloo and Calypso. She is a television personality,food stylist, teacher, chef and Baker. She owns the Wendy Rahamut school of cooking since 1995. For 10 years she was editor in Chief and owner of Caribbean Gourmet Magazine. She is the executive producer of Caribbean Flavours, the longest running local cooking show which began in 1998 and ran until 2017. She introduced Indigenous Bites, an on-line cooking show with the objective of highlighting local indigenous ingredients and their uses in Trinidad.
