The Rt Rev William Edward Meade, DD, MA (24 February 1832 – 12 October 1912) was the 6th Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin, he was ordained in 1856. He was Rector of Ardtrea and then Archdeacon of Armagh before his elevation to the Episcopate.
