William F. Barnes (October 20, 1917 – April 23, 2009) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach for at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1958 to 1964. He guided his teams to a 31–34–3 (.478) record including two seven-win seasons in 1960 and 1961 and an appearance in the 1962 Rose Bowl.
