Wymond Ogilvy Hamley (December 30, 1818 – January 14, 1907), collector of customs, was born in Bodmin, Cornwall, England, the third son of Vice Admiral William Hamley. R.N. Hamley first joined the Royal Navy, then transferred to the civil service.
