Zhang Jie (Chinese: 张杰; born January 31, 1958) is a Chinese physicist. He served as President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University from November 2006 to February 2017. He was elected a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. He was elected to the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina on March 28, 2007. He was elected as foreign associate of the US National Academy of Sciences in 2012.
