John Alfred 'Jack' Newman (born 12 November 1884 at Southsea, Hampshire; died 21 December 1973 at Groote Schuur, Cape Town, South Africa) was an English first-class cricketer who played for Hampshire. He was an all-rounder, a right-handed batsman and right-arm bowler, able to bowl fast-medium outswing with the new ball and then brisk offspin.
