Ricard O'Sullivan Burke [surname recorded as Burke and O'Sullivan Burke] Also known as George Berry, Edward C. Winslow, and Wallace (24 January 1838 – 11 May 1922) was an Irish nationalist, a Fenian activist, a Union American Civil War soldier, a U.S. Republican Party campaigner, and a public-works engineer. He traveled extensively, performing various jobs. He was involved in two prison escape attempts: one in which a policeman was shot dead in Manchester and another when twelve passers-by blown up in London.
